(1) Fine seam glue
Aluminum alloy, wood-aluminum composite doors and windows have many small gaps, such as corner gaps, gaps at the stile joints, etc. Rainwater will penetrate through these slits, resulting in the reduction of the watertightness and airtightness of the doors and windows, and the accelerated corrosion of the doors and windows. Such gaps are usually below 0.2mm, so ordinary sealants such as silicone glue are not suitable. The special seam adhesive has great strength, high elongation and proper permeability, and can play a good role in sealing the seam. In order to reduce the harm caused by the gap, in addition to improving the accuracy of the group angle in the production process, the application of seam glue is an indispensable link.
Before applying fine seam glue, ensure that the section of the profile is clean to avoid the impact of aluminum chips and other sundries on the corner gap and sealing quality. Apply fine seam glue on the section of the profile, which is required to be full and even, and wipe off the overflowing glue in time after forming the corners. In addition, it is more necessary to pay attention to apply the cross-section glue to complete the frame within 30 minutes to prevent the glue from solidifying and losing the sealing effect.
In addition, since most of the outward opening windows are sealed in two ways, rainwater can easily enter the hardware groove. Therefore, the fixing screw holes of the outer opening frame or the lower opening of the middle stile and accessories are also hidden dangers of water leakage. After the water accumulates at the lower mouth, rainwater can easily penetrate into the profile cavity through the screw holes, causing water leakage. The fixing screws here should be treated with fine seam glue before installation. The amount of glue should be appropriate to ensure that the glue can contact the profile wall and fill the gap between the screw and the profile hole.
(2) Group angle
Aluminum alloy, wood-aluminum composite doors and windows need to use special corner glue to improve product performance. Before assembling the corners, the aluminum profiles and corner yards must be cleaned to ensure that there is no oil stain.
For products using aluminum corner code, it is necessary to apply angle glue around the aluminum profile cavity or apply glue to the four sides of the corner code, and then make the angle. For products using compound corner code, inject glue on the back of the corner until the glue overflows from the edge of the corner.
When the wood-aluminum composite doors and windows are made of wood, a special angle glue is used to ensure strong adhesion and excellent waterproof performance. After the corners are assembled, remove the adhesive on the visible surface. At the same time, the non-visible surface is treated with sealing wax and double-sealed, which can reduce the corrosion of the section and the probability of mildew.
When assembling the corners of aluminum-clad wood and solid wood doors and windows, use a glue applicator to apply white latex to the grooves and tenons, put the glued frame on the frame assembly machine, adjust the presser foot, and set the corresponding pressure according to different woods. Remove excess white latex.
